TeamCompass
TeamCompass brings together what a team organises week after week: dates and confirmations, line-ups and match reports, squad, load and the team fund. Coaching staff, players and parents work in the same app - each role sees exactly what it needs. Built in the football department of Eimsbütteler TV and in daily use there.
The app isn't public yet - it goes live on 1 November 2026. Until then we set up test instances right away.
What belongs together is scattered across several channels - and depends on whoever currently has time to keep it up to date. TeamCompass brings dates, squad, funds and communication into one place the whole coaching staff can see.
From scheduling to the team fund, TeamCompass covers the whole training routine - in one place, on the same data, for staff, players and parents.
Coach hub
Whoever opens the app sees their own week first: the training plan, the next dates, the squad's load and whatever the logbook picked up. No empty menu to dig through for what concerns you.
Coach hub: the week's training plan, load and the next dates on one page.
01 / 07
Dates with confirmations, place and time sit in one list - the same one for staff, players and parents. Absences for school, holidays or injury go in by whoever they concern, and attendance is tallied by the app. Nobody counts thumbs in a WhatsApp group any more.
Dates in the player app: accept, decline, and rate the intensity after the session.
02 / 07
The weekly plan is built in the app and goes out as a PDF to everyone who needs it. Attendance and participation are recorded along the way, so trends surface before anyone goes looking for them - and the league's live table sits right beside it, without the detour via the association.
03 / 07
You put the line-up for the next match together on the pitch itself: whoever confirmed carries a frame, grade average and training attendance sit on the player. After the final whistle the match report follows, and the app counts scorers and assists itself.
Line-up editor: player replies as a frame, grade average and attendance on the player.
04 / 07
After every session each player says how hard it was - that builds the squad's load, week by week. Logbook, performance diagnostics and ratings hang off the same profile, so form and load stand side by side before either turns into an injury.
Load analysis: the squad's intensity curve and the average per weekday.
05 / 07
The team fund keeps itself: every entry traceable, open amounts per player on one page, fines and invoices filed straight away. Players and parents see their own balance without asking the treasurer.
Team fund: balance, open expenses and dues, with the account history underneath.
06 / 07
Players open the same app and see their own part. Exercises tailored to you and your position - confirmed by your coach and laid out day by day in your athletic plan.
Player app: the confirmed athletic plan with the day's sessions.
06 / 07
Completed tasks and progress are recorded and rewarded with points.
Completed sessions, points and the week at a glance.
06 / 07
What's still open and what's already paid - without having to ask the coach.
What is open and what has been paid, from the player's side.
06 / 07
Simple pointers for the days before a match and after.
Guidance for the days before a match and after it.
07 / 07
The parent view is deliberately small: no squad lists, no performance data, no chats. Training, matches and cancellations for their own child - in the calendar or as a reminder.

Plan training content in micro, meso and macro cycles the way youth academies do - and see down to the individual player which content they've already covered.
I now finish the line-up on the way to the pitch, not in the evening on the laptop.
